There is no real secret to why one shop is more successful then the other. There is always somebody behind the scenes that is working around the clock to ensure success. Be willing to sleep less work more and always be closing.
As a franchise consultant and an owner of six Roni Deutch Tax Centers I think I now have the understanding of what it takes to make it in biz. As I see many different types of operations fail I have wondered why some make it and some don't? But now I consult other franchisees and share my formula and built in advantage one can have over their competition. The truth is it takes constant marketing that will invite those who are looking for your service or product.
I have an every 90 day rule. That's right an every 90 day rule where you will get your name in front of people so when it comes time for them to need your service or product they will know where to go. I am not a fan of the "seasonal" marketing approach and i do think that is the problem with business and the owners who wait until it's too late to get the business into the front door. I urge all business owners to use the social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. These modern day tools are an easier way to get in your message on a regular basis.
In conclusion the hard work is the cheapest of all of the needed ingredients to make your business a true success. If you are in charge or you own the business it's you who is expected to work extra to lead your business or industry by example. If you're willing to have the philosophy that failure is not an option then your going to make it at some point.
